Customer was using product from Cheney Brothers – a no phosphate added product. We were able to talk through the differences between the performance of the Tri-poly product and assured him that the process was done in a way that enhanced the product and didn’t interfere with the integrity of the shrimp. We were not able to taste the product side by side, but I assured him the flavor profile of ours would be less salty and have a more pronounced shrimp flavor and a better bite. He added two cases to his order for the weekend. They are in a slow season now but will ramp up to about 10 cases a week as we get closer to summer.
