SC Kasey, Ben and PPS Jack had a great cutting at Sal’s Angus Grill with several key Sysco items; including 13/15 Tail-On Portico White Shrimp. They were using a competitive 8/12 Tiger shrimp. One of the items Jack brought with him were some PORTCLS TLON 13/15 White Shrimp for them to try instead. The owners – a young couple, did a blind taste test with the cooked product and the Portico White Shrimp tasted best!! They didn’t notice much size difference, and it saved the customers $4500 per year in Shrimp alone! What a great win by Kasey and Jack using taste, sizing AND format to win the cutting! Jack told them they could take a well-deserved vacation next year!
