The Meeting was set up by S.C. Tony Fernandez, to regain the lost Portico Shrimp Business. We performed a side by side Cutting of Item#5107525 Portcls Shrimp P&D TLON 16/20 vs GFS Shrimp P&D TLON 16/20. After deglazing 20 Shrimp each, Customer noted right away the following differences:
Portico Shrimp uncooked look (Rt): Color vibrant light gray/white. Smell : normal (see attached picture)
GFS Shrimp uncooked look (left) : color dull and slimy. Smell : off
Portico Shrimp cooked (rt) weigh for 10 Shrimp 8oz (see attached picture)
GFS Shrimp cooked weight (left) for 10 Shrimp: 7oz
Overall Portico Shrimp had appx 16oz more Shrimp cooked yield for 1/10lb case.
Cooked Shrimp Taste Test:
Portico Shrimp firm, snappy texture and pearly white color cooked flash.
GFS Shrimp, jelly texture, opaque cooked flash.
Ingredients statements comparison (see attached picture) GFS Shrimp contains nearly double amount of cholesterol and Sodium.
